OBJECTIVE

The Blessing Foundation/TBF is not for profit, duty registered organization (NPO) striving to provide quality health care, Social & Development Services to deprived segment of the society either its partner Organizations. It has a team of dedicated, motivated, qualified and experienced professionals who are successfully implementing the Projects of TBF in the Sindh, Pakistan.

TBF infuses strength in mobilizing & support the marginalized & less privileged communities, to carry out the sustainable health, social, economic, political & cultural development.

The Blessing Foundation/TBF is a local non-government organization (NGO) with a proven recordof successful implementation of social development projects that includes establishment of health centers in peripheries, blood banks, nutrition support program during and after the floods of 2010 to 2012 in various districts of Sindh, HIV prevention programs funded by international donors and other agencies. TBF has also established paramedical and nursing institutes in Karachi and Sukkur and providing trained main power to local and overseas health institutions with the support of BBSYDP- Chief Minister Sindh and NAVTTC-Prime Minister skill development program. TBF trained more than 5000 male and females of the province over the period of 6 years and unemployedyouth were trained and employed. TBF worked relentlessly during the floods 2010-12 and providedWASH, health and Nutrition support services to the flood affectees with the support of concern worldwide, USAID and UNICEF.

TBF has strong linkages with major NGOs and funding agencies working in Pakistan. It has undertaken initiatives in Karachi, Thatta, Hyderabad, Tando Muhammad Khan, Tando Allahyar, Sanghar, Sehwan, Larkana, Khairpur, Ghohtkiand Sukkur through collaboration with local CBOs and activists. TBF has experience working in the diverse socio-cultural environment of Pakistan and activists. TBF has experience working in the District and Provincial Governments, civil society institutions and media.

TBF worked with close coordination and collaboration of Nutrition Support Program, Health Department Government of Sindh, Enhanced HIV/AIDS Control Program, National AIDS Control Program, United Nations Populations Fund/UNFPA, UNODC, UNICEF, BBYSDP, NAVTTC, ANF, Health department Government of Sindh, Home Department, District Governments, District Police Officials, Corporate Sector and implemented HIV/AIDS and health care projects in the province of Sindh.

To increase excess of primary and secondary healthcare including HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis “B” &“C” and sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

To raise awareness about infectious diseases through Advocacy meetings, Seminars, Workshops and rallies among vulnerable groups particularly youth, Jail inmates, Truckers, FSWs, MSMs, & IDUs.

To provide Clinical care to poor & destitute patients on free and non-profit basis

To work for the socioeconomically &political rights of women.

To train Doctors, Para-Medical Staff, and Community Members in diagnosis, treatment, prevention and awareness in controlling infectious diseases.

To promote the economic and social advancement and to impart legal education and civic awareness amongst the people of Pakistan.

To establish community organizations (COs) for the furtherance and promotion of any or all of the objectives of the TBF.

To focus on youth as the nucleus of development activities

To provide education, training and orientation to other non-government organizations (NGOs) engaged in development activities.

To support institutional development of CBOs/NGOs (Community Based Non-Governmental Organizations).

To collaborate and develop networking among the Government Organizations, NGOs, Research institutions and Development Support Organizations to achieve the objectives of the TBF.
